WHAT WE DO
We are Supply Chain Management, responsible for the sourcing & contracting of goods and services required by all eThekwini Municipality Units and Departments to fulfill their service delivery mandate. We are also responsible for the logistics management for all stock related items

We have set the following standards for the level and quality of services we provide:

When you write to us we shall:

  • Acknowledge your letter telephonically within 3 working days
  • Advice accordingly of the progress on your case/complaint
  • Answer/Attend to your calls within a maximum of 5 rings
  • Advise you when you can expect a reply
  • Providing Support to supplier queries on Supplier Self Service
  • Provide JDE System menu Maintenance
  • Handle emergencies immediately
  • Attend to customers arriving at the counter within 5 minutes
  • Coordinating of service provider’s performance and risk
  • Provide income for the council/ Departments from all used and recyclable assets.
