Renovations are underway at the Cato Ridge poultry farm, operational since 2020. 
The upgrades aim to improve operations, expand capacity and support more poultry farmers, in line with government goals to boost agricultural infrastructure and create jobs. Since its acquisition by eThekwini Municipality, the farm has grown from one to seven operating businesses.
