CITY TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR ARTS AND CULTURE ORGANISATIONS
Members of the media are invited to attend eThekwini Municipality’s Grant-in-Aid Awarding Ceremony, where successful arts and culture organisations will receive funding support following a rigorous application and selection process.
The Grant-in-Aid programme forms part of the Municipality’s ongoing commitment to fostering the growth, sustainability, and development of the arts and culture sector.
Through this funding, beneficiary organisations will be empowered to implement programmes that promote artistic excellence, talent development, cultural preservation, skills transfer, and broader community participation in the creative industries.
The initiative is expected to create meaningful opportunities for artists and cultural practitioners while contributing to the development of a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable arts and culture landscape across eThekwini.
It also underscores the Municipality’s investment in nurturing local talent, preserving cultural heritage, and strengthening the creative economy.
