PUBLIC NOTICE
INTERRUPTION OF WATER SUPPLY AT ISIPHINGO AND PROSPECTON
EThekwini Municipality wishes to inform residents and businesses of a temporary interruption of water supply affecting areas served by reservoirs supplied from the Isiphingo Hills Reservoir.
This interruption is necessary to allow for critical infrastructure upgrades and connections.
The work involves the tie-in of a new 400mm steel pipeline laid along Prospecton Road into the existing adjoining pipelines in The Avenue East, Canal Bridge and Joyner Road.
This work will commence tomorrow, Saturday, 21 March at 6am and is anticipated to be completed on Sunday, 22 March at 6am.
Every effort will be made to complete the work within the stipulated timeframe and restore supply as quickly as possible.
Affected areas:
Prospecting Industrial, Isiphingo Beach, Orient Hills, Athlone Park, Galleria Mall, Arbour Crossing and Kingsway Hospital.
The Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.
