MEDIA ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION AND UMKOMAAS DAM SITE VISIT
EThekwini Municipality, through the Presidential eThekwini Working Group (PeWG) Marketing and Communications Workstream, invites members of the media to attend an Media Round Table Discussion which will be followed by an on-site visit to the uMkomaas Dam construction site.
The engagement aims to provide members of the media with an in-depth update on the progress, key milestones, and achievements of the Presidential eThekwini Working Group, with a particular focus on Phase Two.
EThekwini Mayor Cllr Xaba will lead the discussion highlighting:
●Strategic programmes undertaken by the PeWG
●Preparations underway for the upcoming SADC Summit to be hosted in eThekwini
●Programmes undertaken by Brand SA and their alignment with eThekwini Vision.
Members of the media will be taken on an inspection in loco to uMkomaas Dam construction site, where a technical briefing on the project's progress and its strategic importance will be presented.
