METRO FM MUSIC AWARDS TICKETS NOW ON SALE
With less than a month to go, the City is set to roll out the red carpet for the much-anticipated METRO FM Music Awards, taking place on 25 April at the INkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre.
The event promises a night of glitz and glamour, with music stars descending on Durban for an unforgettable celebration of excellence and world-class performances.
Tickets for the awards ceremony are available via Computicket in the following categories:
* Block E and F: R1 100
* Auditorium Seating: R750
Limited secure parking and facilities for persons with disabilities will be available.
The celebration extends beyond the main event with the METRO FM Music Awards Festival at Moses Mabhida People’s Park, an electrifying outdoor experience filled with music, energy, and unforgettable performances.

As METRO FM marks 40 iconic years in the industry, this year’s theme, “Icon-Inspired Music Excellence,” pays tribute to the legends who have shaped South Africa’s cultural and musical landscape.
It honours the past while embracing the future, showcasing a seamless fusion of heritage and innovation through rich Zulu-inspired cultural elements.
METRO FM Business Manager, Kina Nhlengethwa, highlighted the significance of the theme.
“The concept blends African luxury with global style, creating an experience that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking. It reflects the station’s iconic journey of excellence.”
The METRO FM Music Awards promise a night of prestige, relevance, and excitement, celebrating icons while elevating the next generation of stars.
Voting is now open and will close on 19 April 2026.
Audiences can support their favourite artists by dialing 12045787# and following the prompts (R1.50 per minute).
